Union specific development
Starting with the needs of the union, we can look at designing a programme that fits with your timeline and budget. We do this by working through your development needs along with the union’s goals, so this option remains the most specific and flexible model. This is effective when addressing a current skills gap and/or anticipated gap where new skills will be put into practice during a future campaign, organising initiative or bargaining round. Usually this method consists of a series of formal training sessions and 1:1 engagement with participants.
Coaching & Mentoring
We do this by working with individual staff members and/or unions to determine individual development needs. From there we will design a personal development plan for each participant and meet with them to review their plan. Usually this includes on the road site visits and specific coaching around organising objectives in the field.
